We are a garden room company with an office at 1 Charlotte Square in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. We build garden offices, garden studios, garden gyms and insulated living spaces, and we work with homeowners across Tyne and Wear, County Durham and Northumberland.
We handle the whole project ourselves, from the first conversation, design and planning advice to the groundworks, electrics, installation and finishing. As a result, you have one team responsible for everything and one place to go with questions.
02Our approach
What we believe makes a good garden room
Three principles guide every project, whatever its size.
We listen first
Every design starts with how you will use the space. No two gardens or households are the same, so we never start from a catalogue.
We build to last
We use quality materials and proven methods, with fully insulated walls, floors and roof and double-glazed doors and windows, so the room is comfortable all year.
We guide you throughout
We explain your options, the planning position and the costs in plain terms, with clear written quotes and no surprises.
03How we work
How does a garden room project work?
Our process follows a simple order, so each decision is made at the right time.
01
Talk it through
We find out how you want to use the room, along with your style, timescale and budget.
02
Survey and design
Where needed, we visit to measure, check levels and access, and look at planning. Then we design around your brief.
03
Fixed written quote
You receive an itemised quote showing exactly what is included, with no obligation to go ahead.
04
Build and finish
We lay the base, connect the power, install the room and complete the interior.
05
Handover
We show you around your new room and explain how to look after it.
04What we build
Garden rooms designed around how you live
Our work ranges from compact offices and art studios to gyms, garden lounges and larger bespoke garden rooms with more than one use. Each one is planned for its purpose. For example, an office needs quiet and a reliable internet connection, a gym needs a strong floor and good ventilation, and a studio needs steady daylight.
Every room is a fully insulated garden room with power for lighting, heating and technology, a durable base and a layout that suits your plot. You can read more about our installation process on its own page.

05Design
Designed for the North East climate
We want each garden room to feel like a piece of architecture rather than a shed with windows. We keep the shapes clean and the materials honest, and we place the glazing with care so it frames the best view of the garden while keeping privacy where you need it. Our contemporary garden rooms are designed to sit well beside the house and age gracefully.
The weather shapes our designs too. Winters here are cold and wet, and the wind can be strong near the coast at places like Whitley Bay. For that reason, every one of our garden rooms in Newcastle and across the region is built with good insulation, airtight construction and cladding details that shed rain. The goal is a room you will happily use on a February morning as well as a summer evening.
06Areas we serve
Where do we work?
We install garden rooms across Newcastle and the wider region, including Jesmond, Gosforth, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, Ponteland, North Shields and Whitley Bay.
Photography on this website is licensed inspiration imagery chosen to show the styles we design and build. Our own project portfolio is being photographed. In the meantime, we are happy to talk through designs, materials and specifications in detail when you get in touch. For budgeting advice, see our garden room costs guide.
